Direct Care

In order to better focus on our wonderful patients, as of October 1st, 2023, Visionary became a fully direct care practice. It is "direct care" because it's a direct relationship between doctor and patient without the insurance middleman. This means that, while we will happily file out of network vision benefits for our patients, we will no longer be "In Network" providers for ANY vision insurance plans such as Vision Service Plan (VSP), Eyemed, or Superior Vision. This allows us more quality time with our patients with the overall goal being to provide you with the best possible care. In doing this we will also be revamping our prices to make them more patient friendly.

Flexible Spending Accounts

Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) are an elective supplemental insurance savings plan, offered through one’s employer. These accounts are designed to help you save money, pretax, in an account, to pay for additional medical expenses, including eye exams, glasses, contacts, and Ortho-K. FSAs can typically be used in conjunction with any vision insurance plan to offset out-of-pocket costs on your behalf.

Care Credit

Additionally, we accept CareCredit as a form of payment for those enrolled.

Other Payment Options

We understand that cost is a concern when evaluating vision care providers. We do not want cost to be an obstacle to maintaining proper eye health and good vision. We accept various forms of payment and are able to discuss financing options with you prior to your examination. At Visionary Eye Care, we also accept cash, check, and major credit cards.
